Dr Annalise Seguna was conferred with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Malta in 2017. In 2018 she graduated with a Master’s Degree in Advocacy and was later admitted to the local Bar.
Dr Seguna has since then practiced in the Civil and Commercial law areas with a reputable international firm, where she advised on corporate and commercial projects and provided legal advice on the restructuring of companies and other commercial entities. Dr Seguna was also tasked with the drafting of judicial acts and the reviewing of business agreements.
Following the pursuance of a full-time scholarship, in 2020 Dr Seguna obtained her second Master’s Degree, this time in Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies. Her thesis examined the civil responsibility for damage caused by various blockchain systems and other innovative technologies.
Throughout the past two years, Dr Seguna has also worked as a litigation lawyer before the Maltese Courts and Tribunals assisting clients mainly in civil and commercial disputes.
In her senior position at Lex Group Legal, Dr Seguna advises and represents local and international clients on Civil and Commercial law matters.
